Workman Fashions

We are over at No-154 Nehru Street, right near the Thanneerpanthal Ring Road in Ammaiyappan Nagar. Our spot is also associated with Canimara Exports. Being near the ring road makes it easy for transport, but the traffic can be quite loud throughout the day. Workman Fashions is a busy place where we handle a lot of garment work. The building is a functional space, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it's a hive of activity with people sewing, checking quality, and packing things up. We have a mix of experienced hands and some younger folks learning the trade. It is a very hands-on environment. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have our work and our reputation in the local area. The Thanneerpanthal area has a lot of businesses like ours, so there is always a sense of community among the workers. We start early and the fans are always going to keep the place cool. Sometimes things get a bit messy with scraps of fabric everywhere, but that’s just part of the process. We are just regular people working a regular job. We take pride in just getting the work done and getting it out the door. If you come by Nehru Street, you’ll find us there, just doing what we do every day. We don't have any big plans, just to keep the machines running and the orders moving along smoothly.
