Out here on P.N. Road in Tirupur, things are always moving fast. We are located right in R.A. Towers, near Santhosh Fancy, and it’s a lively spot to be if you’re into the clothing trade. Being in Coimbatore district, you know how it is with the textile business. It’s everywhere. We spend most of our hours looking at fabrics and making sure the knitting machines are running like they should. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the noise of the machines is something you just get used to after a week or two. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers, just a group of us making sure the orders go out. Sometimes the yarn isn't the right shade or a machine breaks down on a Tuesday afternoon, and we just have to deal with it. We don’t put up big posters or try to act bigger than we are. People around here know us because we’ve been in this building for a bit. Tirupur is a tough town for this kind of work, but we keep at it. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks. We handle the daily tasks, count the stock, and pack the boxes. It’s honest work. If you walk past the towers, you’ll probably hear us working. We don't have fancy chairs or a lobby, just tables for cutting and folding. We just get on with things every single day.
