Sharp Trendys

We are based out in Kalappatti, specifically on Sitra Road in an area called Sharp Nagar. Our place is number 330/2C1. It’s a busy spot because of the proximity to the airport and all the growth happening around here. We do a lot of work with textiles and garments, so there’s always the sound of sewing machines or cutting tools in the background. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and fabric scraps. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a while. We don't really do much in the way of fancy displays. It’s more about getting the production done and getting the bundles ready for shipping. The heat in Kalappatti can be pretty intense, so we have big windows to try and get some air moving through the workshop. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, which is frustrating but that's just how it goes here. We aren't a big factory, just a decent-sized unit where everyone knows their job. We get our supplies from local vendors and send our stuff out to different shops. It’s steady work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just focus on making the clothes and keeping the machines running. It’s a loud, busy, and sometimes dusty place, but it’s ours. We just keep our heads down and finish the garments.
