Baar B Queen

Baar B Queen is located at No 20 on East Venkatasamy Road in the R S Puram area of Coimbatore. R S Puram is a busy part of town with a lot of shops and people walking around in the evenings. Our place has a lot of tables and the smell of the grill is usually the first thing you notice when you walk in. We spend a lot of time prepping the ingredients and making sure the charcoal or the heaters are ready to go. The floor is made of simple tiles and we have to mop it frequently. It can get a bit smoky inside when the place is full, but we try to keep the windows or vents open. People usually come in small groups and stay for an hour or so. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy menus, just the usual boards and papers. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked with parked scooters, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through. We just keep doing what we do every day, opening up in the afternoon and staying late until the last customer leaves. It feels like a very normal part of the Coimbatore city life. We just clear the tables and get ready for the next day.
