Hasmeer Re-Workshop

We've been here at No. 43 Jeeva Nagar for a while now. K. K. Pudur is a busy spot and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Most days it's just us getting our hands dirty with whatever comes through the door. People know the workshop by the pile of metal parts near the entrance. It's not a fancy place but the tools work well enough for what we do. We spend a lot of time fixing things that others might just throw away. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking on the bench outside, but usually, there's a backlog of work. The floor is always a bit greasy no matter how much we sweep it up at night. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to keep track of stuff when you're the one doing it. You can find us down the lane, usually near a few parked bikes or old machines waiting for parts. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just wait it out with a cup of tea from the corner. It's just a regular workshop where things get mended. We don't have a big neon sign or anything, just the address painted on the wall. Most folks find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby in Jeeva Nagar. We keep the doors open early and stay until the job looks done enough for the day. It's just where we work and where we spend most of our time dealing with mechanical bits and pieces.
