Our garment business is located at 126/12 on 4th Street in the Badakkae Gounder area of Coimbatore. It is a busy part of the city, especially since so many textile businesses are nearby. The building is usually buzzing with the sound of sewing machines and people moving boxes around. We have a floor dedicated to the stitching and another small area for packing and admin work. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when we have a big order that needs to be finished. The air is often thick with bits of thread and fabric dust, which is just part of the job. I have been working in garments since I was young, and it is a tough industry to be in. We do not have a fancy showroom or a marketing department. We just focus on making the clothes and getting them out the door. The street outside is usually crowded with scooters and delivery vans, making it a bit difficult to navigate. We have a small break area where the workers sit for lunch. It is a very grounded, local operation. We do not use any promotional language or make big promises. We just do the work that comes our way and try to keep the machines running. It is a simple life centered around the rhythms of the factory floor. Most of our staff live nearby and have been with us for a long time.
