Vajas Clothing Company

Vajas Clothing Company is situated at No. 39 Kamatchi Nagar 2nd Street. We are on the way to V. G. V. Garden, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. Our shop is where we handle all the cutting and stitching for the clothes we make. It’s a simple setup with a few long tables and several sewing machines. We don’t have a fancy showroom with mannequins. Mostly, the clothes are just folded and stacked in boxes ready to go. The street outside is usually quiet, except for when the kids are coming home from school. We’ve been working out of this Kamatchi Nagar location for some time. It’s a local operation through and through. The people working here are mostly from the nearby streets. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. We just have a list of things that need to be sewn each day. Sometimes the threads get tangled or a machine acts up, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be a global brand. We just want to make clothing that people can actually wear. It’s dusty work and our backs sometimes ache from leaning over the tables, but we enjoy the process of seeing a piece of cloth turn into a garment. We just keep our heads down and try to do the work as honestly as we can.
