Marsun Exports

Our place is in Chiniyampalayam, specifically over in Venkitapuram. It’s a bit out of the main city chaos, which is nice for loading the trucks. Marsun Exports has been running from this spot for a good while. We mostly handle packing and shipping things out to other places. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking boxes. Sometimes the labels get mixed up and we have to stay late to fix everything. My cousin helps with the accounts and I handle the workers. We have a small warehouse that stays pretty full most of the time. You have to be careful walking around because of all the crates. We don't have any fancy slogans. We just try to make sure the boxes get to where they need to go without getting crushed. The roads around here can be bumpy, so we pack everything tight. It’s a quiet neighborhood mostly, except for when the big lorries come in. We know the tea shop guy around the corner pretty well. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the manifests. It’s not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps the staff busy. We’ve had some of the same guys working here since we opened. They know the routine. If the rain comes heavy, we have to move everything away from the door quickly. Just normal stuff. The office is just a corner with a desk and some old filing cabinets that don't always open right. We just do the work.
