If you are looking for us, we are at S.F. No: 486/3B in Mangalakarai Pudur, over in the Karamadai area. It is a bit of a trek to get out here but that is where the work happens. This spot is mostly about the rocks and the crushing equipment we use. It is loud and there is always a fine layer of dust on everything, including our clothes and the old wooden table we use for paperwork. We spend our days watching the machines and making sure the stone is the right size for the customers. Karamadai is a nice enough place but it is definitely more about the industry out this way than anything else. We do not have any fancy landscaping or anything like that. It is just a work site with a lot of heavy stuff moving around all day. The survey number is what helps people find the exact spot because the roads out here do not always have clear names or signs. We usually start early before it gets too hot because the metal and stone really hold the heat in the afternoon. There is a small tea shop a little ways down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. It is just us and a few workers keeping the place running. We do not have a big corporate office; we just work out of the small cabin.
