A. R. Metal Polisher

You can find us in the Muthusamy Industrial Estate, specifically at No. 315/1 F. We are right near the old Ganesh Theatre in the Jayaprakash Nagar area of Ganapathy. The workshop is pretty much what you’d expect from a metal polishing place. It’s loud, dusty, and there’s always a layer of metal shavings on the floor. We spend our days at the buffing wheels. It’s hard work on the hands and shoulders, but it’s what we do. We take raw metal parts and work them down until they have the right finish. Sometimes it’s a dull matte look, other times it’s a high shine. We have a few different machines, some older than others, but they all still work fine if you know how to handle them. The industrial estate is always busy with trucks and people moving crates. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but we have a good rhythm going. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. People just drop off their items, and we tell them when to come back. Usually, we’re wearing aprons and masks because of all the dust in the air. We take our tea breaks outside to get some fresh air. It’s a straightforward business. We polish the metal, check for scratches, and move on to the next piece. That’s daily life at A. R. Metal Polisher. We’ve been in this spot for years now.
