Raja Blue Metals

We've been at this spot in Periyakuilai for a while now. The yard at No. 2/161 is usually full of dust and heavy trucks coming in and out at odd hours. Most days start pretty early here at Raja Blue Metals because the construction guys want their loads before the sun gets too high in the sky. It is a lot of physical work and the machines are quite noisy, but that is just how it goes in the blue metal trade. We spend most of our time checking the piles of stone and making sure the loaders are working right. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains and the ground turns to thick mud, but we keep the gates open anyway. People around Periyakuilai know where we are. It is not a fancy place by any means. There is just a small office where we keep the books and take the orders. We mostly deal with local builders who need stuff for their sites nearby. It is just us and a few workers trying to keep the supply moving. You can hear the crushers from a distance if you are walking down the road. We do not spend much time on the computer unless it is for the bills. Mostly, we are outside in the heat. It is a simple life of moving rocks and making sure the weight is right on the scales before the trucks head out to the city.
