Mighty Steel Links

Our yard and office are located at No. 12/392 -1 on Uzhlipalar Street in Vellakinar. It's near the Gn Mills area, so it's quite an industrial part of town. We deal with steel links and various metal hardware. Most of the space here is taken up by heavy piles of steel and machinery. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of metal clanging and trucks moving in and out to load and unload. We’ve been operating from this post for a long time. It’s a dusty and greasy kind of job, so we all wear old clothes and heavy boots. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the logs and take care of the paperwork. We don't have any fancy signs or a big storefront. People who need steel know where we are. We spend our days checking the inventory and making sure everything is ready for the customers who come by. It can be a bit chaotic when several lorries arrive at once, but we manage to get through it. The sun gets pretty hot out in the yard during the summer months. We just stay focused on the tasks and get the orders moved. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we do and we’ve been doing it right here for years. We just keep things moving every day.
