You can find us out at 2/87 in Kangayampalayam, which is a bit away from the main Coimbatore city chaos. It’s a bit quieter out here, which we mostly like. Veejay Lakshmi Engineering Works Ltd has this spot near the post office, and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. The building isn't brand new, it has some character and maybe a few leaks when the monsoon hits hard, but it serves us well. We’ve got our machinery set up just the way we like it. It’s a bit of a commute for some of the guys, but they make it in every morning. We aren't interested in being the flashiest company around. We just want to make sure the engineering parts we produce are done right. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we all go during the break to talk about the local news or the cricket scores. It’s a humble setup, really. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy reports. We just keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that’s seen better days. It’s a real place with real people who get their clothes dirty. We’ve been through good times and slow times here in Kangayampalayam, but we just keep showing up and doing what we know how to do. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for everyone here.
