Shanrag Machine Tools

Our shop, Shanrag Machine Tools, is located on Athipalayam Road in Chinnavedampatty. We are at Door No. 84/16, which is part of the S.F. No. 63 area. It’s right near where they make the Cri Pumps. This part of town is very industrial, so there's always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We spend our days working with different types of machine tools. It is greasy and loud work, but it’s what we know how to do. The workshop floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy. It’s just the machines, the tools, and us. Most of the people who come here are looking for specific parts or help with a mechanical issue. We've been in this spot for a while now and have seen the road get busier over the years. We don't really do much to promote the place. People just hear about us from other shops or find us while they are visiting the pump factories nearby. It’s a small team here, just a couple of guys who are good with their hands. We stay busy enough without needing to be flashy about it. We just open up in the morning and work until the sun goes down. There is always a lot to do, and we just try to keep the machines running for everyone.
