Ess Gee Hydro Pneumatics is tucked away at No. 4/10 A Punes Colony on Tank Road. This is in the Kavundampalayam area. It can be a little quiet back here compared to the main roads but we like it that way. We work on hydro and pneumatic systems which is basically a lot of pipes and pressure valves. Our workshop is full of heavy tools and the smell of oil. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes. We are usually covered in some kind of shop grime by noon. We've been in Kavundampalayam for a long time and seen it grow. The building we are in is sturdy and handles the heavy machinery well. We don't have any slick marketing or a team of salespeople. It is just us mechanics and technicians doing the actual labor. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought and we have to stay through the evening. We don't mind because that is just the nature of the work. People in Punes Colony know us as the guys who fix the high-pressure stuff. We don't make big promises or use corporate lingo. We just look at the problem and try to find a way to fix it with what we have. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we are okay with that.
