Usha Engineering Works

We’re located at 48 Race Course in Coimbatore, right here in Tamil Nadu. It’s a decent area and people know the spot well. Usha Engineering Works has been around for quite some time now. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and general engineering repairs. Our shop has various lathes, drills, and welding equipment that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't into the corporate way of doing things. We just open up the shutters in the morning and get to work on whatever has been brought in. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands since they were young, so they have a good feel for the machines. The noise of metal being worked on is something you just get used to after a while. We don’t have a website that’s updated every day or anything like that. We mostly rely on people knowing our name and coming to the Race Course address when they have a problem that needs fixing. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with parts spread out across the floor, but there's a system to it all. It’s a practical business. We focus on the iron and steel and making sure the dimensions are correct. It’s not about being the biggest, just about being reliable for the local folks who need engineering work done properly.
