Varthagar Apparels Private Limited

Varthagar Apparels is located at number 27 in Gayathri Cooperative Nagar. We are over in Villiyambakkam, which is a place with a lot of regular families and small businesses. Our setup is pretty simple. We have the sewing machines and the cutting tables all in one main area. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of fabric rolls delivered, but we manage to move things around. We’ve been here at this address for a while now. The neighbors know us as the apparel folks. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who already know what we can do. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend our days handling different types of cloth. Some are easy to work with, others are a bit of a headache. The lighting in the shop is okay, but we use extra lamps for the detail work when it gets dark. Villiyambakkam is a nice enough area, though it gets dusty in the summer months. We keep the fans running high to stay cool. There’s no big office upstairs, just a small desk where we keep the paperwork and the phone. Varthagar Apparels is just us doing what we’ve always done. We show up at 9, do the work, and close up in the evening. It’s not a complicated life. We just focus on making sure the garments are finished right.
