Unicon Engineers

We are over here on Bharathi Road in Chinnavadampatty. It’s been our spot for quite some time now. People in Ganapathy usually know where we are because of the sign out front. The workshop is usually a bit loud with the machines going, but that is just how it is when you are doing engineering work. Most days, we just show up, look at the drawings, and start cutting or welding whatever needs to be done. It is not fancy here. There are piles of metal in the corner and grease on the floor, but we know where everything is. My desk is usually covered in papers and old coffee mugs. Sometimes the traffic on Bharathi Road gets a bit much, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We just keep the shutters half-down and finish up our tasks. We have a small crew. Everyone knows their job. It is mostly local guys who have been doing this for years. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the real work happens on the floor with the tools. If you walk past, you’ll probably see someone out front loading a truck. It’s a busy little corner of Ganapathy, and we are just glad to have the space to do our work. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a regular day at Unicon Engineers.
