Trans Merchandising

If you’re driving down Avinashi Road, you’ll find us at the Gowtham Centre Annexe. We’re at No. 1054. It’s a decent location, though the traffic on the main road can be a bit much during rush hour. We work in merchandising, which basically means we spend our time looking at products and talking to suppliers. The office is usually filled with samples of different things we’re looking at. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped with all the boxes, but we make it work. We’ve been here at Gowtham Centre for a while. It’s a practical place to be. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, check the emails, and see what needs to be sorted out for the day. Some days we are out meeting people, and other days we’re just stuck at the desks. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee, and that gets a lot of use. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear suits or anything. It’s just about getting the job done without too much fuss. We know our way around the industry by now. Most of the folks we deal with have been our contacts for years. It’s a matter of keeping those connections going and making sure the goods are what they’re supposed to be. That's really all there is to it for us.
