Triangles

We are over at No. 3 Municipal Lay Out on 2nd Street in Perchhepalayam. It’s just off Dharapuram Road here in Tirupur. Being in Tirupur means we are surrounded by the hum of the garment industry. At Triangles, we have a small setup that fits our needs. It’s mostly just a workspace with some tables for cutting and checking fabrics. The street outside is usually full of tempos and bikes carrying bags of cloth. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical concrete structure. Inside, it’s often quite noisy because of the machines running nearby. We spend our time looking over orders and making sure the pieces are cut right. There’s usually thread all over the floor by midday, no matter how much we try to sweep. We aren't a big factory; we’re more of a small workshop where everyone knows what they’re supposed to do without being told. We don’t have fancy brochures or a big sign. Most people find us because they know we are on this street. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we keep the shades down mostly. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a place where we put in the hours and get the stuff shipped out to whoever is waiting for it.
