Sleek Fashions

We spend most of our days here in Serangkadutiruppur at Sleek Fashions. It’s usually pretty busy with the machines running and people moving around. We’ve been at this for a while now, just working on different types of clothes and making sure things get done. It gets quite loud sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We aren't a big fancy operation or anything like that. Just a local spot where we handle our daily tasks. Some days the fabric piles up a bit more than others, and we have to stay late to sort through everything. The area around Serangkadutiruppur has a lot of energy, and we're just one small piece of it. People stop by, and we talk about what needs to be finished. It's not always perfect. Sometimes the power cuts or we run behind, but we keep at it anyway. Our space is filled with threads, scraps of cloth, and the smell of the iron. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the front office looks because we are usually in the back getting things ready. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We don't have a big team, so everyone knows each other’s names and how they take their tea. It's simple work but it keeps us occupied. Every morning we open up and start again. That's really all there is to our story here. We don't have much else to say about it, we just keep working and trying to stay on top of the pile.
