You can find us at No 4 on Dharapuram Road. We are directly across from where 60 Feet Road meets the main strip here in Knp Colony. Tirupur is always a busy place for clothes, and this corner is no different. The traffic outside is constant, especially the big trucks moving goods around. Our unit is mostly focused on the daily grind of garment making. We have rows of sewing machines and cutting tables that take up most of the floor space. It’s loud and there is always a lot of lint in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is filled with stacks of cotton fabric and finished pieces waiting to be bagged up. The workers here come in early, usually around eight, and the machines don't stop until late. We get our water from the local supply and have a small corner for eating lunch. It’s a hot environment, especially under the tin roof when the sun is out. We use a lot of thread every day, and there are always empty spools lying around. Most of the people working here live nearby in Knp Colony, so they walk or cycle in. We don't do much advertising; the work just comes in through word of mouth from other people in the trade. It’s hard work but it’s what we know how to do.
