The Mint Fashion

The Mint Fashion is located on the first floor of No. 11 East 2nd Street. We are right off Uthukuli Road in Karumarampalayam. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us busy. The street outside is always crowded with bikes and people going to the market. We have been working from this space for a couple of years now. It is a tight fit sometimes with all the fabric rolls and the cutting table taking up most of the room. We don't have a big reception area or a lobby. When you walk in, you are right in the middle of where the work happens. Our team is small, just a few local folks who live within a couple of kilometers. We start our day early to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. The windows stay open, but you mostly just hear the sounds of the traffic from Uthukuli Road. We handle different kinds of fashion items, depending on what the current work is. It is a lot of manual work and checking things over. We aren't a corporate office with fancy titles. Everyone just does what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch if the deadline is close. It’s just a regular local business trying to make things work in a busy part of town. We appreciate the people who stop by our small shop.
