TASARA TEXTILES AND DESIGN STUDIO PRIVATE LIMITED

Tasara Textiles and Design Studio Private Limited is actually located inside an apartment complex. We are in Flat 11, Block 1 of the Sterling Chaturbuja Apartment on River View Avenue. It is in the Manapakkam area. It might seem a bit unusual to have a design studio in a residential block, but it works for us. It keeps things quiet so we can focus on the patterns and the textile designs. The view of the river is nice when we need a break from looking at fabric samples. We have rolls of cloth and design sketches taking up most of the space in the flat. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of work going on. The lighting is good though, which helps when you are trying to get the colors right. We aren't a big factory or a retail shop. It's more of a workspace where the creative ideas happen. Most of the people living in the building probably don't even know what we are doing in here. We just come in, do our work, and head home when we're done. It’s a simple setup. Manapakkam is a growing part of the city, and being in this apartment keeps our overhead low and our focus sharp. We deal with various textile projects, mostly focusing on the design side of things. It’s just us and our tools in Flat 11.
