Our place is at 141 Thirumurugan Nagar, over in the Kalapatti Post area. It is a bit of a drive out here, but it gives us the space we need for the textile work. We have been operating from this spot for a while, and most of the staff lives nearby, so it feels like a local operation even if we do a lot of business. The building is plain, nothing special to look at, but it stays busy from morning until late evening. We spend most of our time dealing with the machines and making sure the fabric is coming out the way it should. There are always boxes stacked up near the entrance waiting for the trucks to come pick them up. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we have to spend half the day fixing it instead of working. That’s just how it goes in this business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word usually gets around about what we do. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of numbers on bits of paper. The office is small and usually has too many files on the desks. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders finished on time. It gets loud in the back when everything is running, but we are used to it by now.
