We’ve been here at the Devar Line spot for quite a bit now. It’s right across from Rajalakshmi Mill on Trichy Road, so there is always some noise and activity around the gate. Mostly we just handle the day-to-day stuff here in Singanallur. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trucks come through the main road. The building itself is old, but it works for what we need. People know where we are because of the landmark, which helps since the numbering on this street can be a bit confusing sometimes with the old and new system. We mostly just stick to our routine. There’s a small tea shop nearby where most of the guys go during breaks. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular workplace where we keep track of the stock and make sure things move out on time. Sometimes the weather makes the road messy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. It’s just us doing the job every morning until we close up for the evening. If you’re driving down Trichy Road, you’ve probably seen the sign. It’s been there long enough that it’s just part of the background now. Not much else to say really, just a local business keeping things going day by day without making too much of a fuss.
