Taamaesek Engineering Consortium - Coimbatore.

We are located out in Madukkarai at 5/54 Malai Samy Kovil Street. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers every now and then, which is a nice change from the sound of tools. Coimbatore is known for its engineering, and we are just one of the many small shops trying to keep things moving. The workshop has high ceilings but it still manages to trap the heat. We have a lot of heavy equipment sitting around and you have to be careful where you step. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes. We started this consortium a while back to bring different skills together. Some of us are good at the technical drawings and others are better with the actual metalwork. We have a small office area blocked off with some glass panels, but the dust finds its way in anyway. The guys usually eat lunch together on the benches outside. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures. If someone needs something built or fixed, they just show up at the gate. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, but we put a bucket there and keep working. It’s just how things are around here in Madukkarai.
