Swetha Garments

We are located at number 104 in Amman Nagar West. We are pretty close to the Jai Saradha Vidhyalaya school, so you can always hear the kids playing or the bells ringing during their breaks. It’s a busy little area in Cauvery Nagar. We make all sorts of garments here in our workshop. It’s mostly a family thing, with my sisters helping with the cutting and the finishing work. We have a few industrial machines set up in the back room where it stays a bit cooler. The front room is where we keep the finished stacks of clothes ready for pickup. It’s a bit crowded because we don't have much storage space for extra fabric. We do a lot of school uniforms and simple house clothes for the locals. The school being right there means we see a lot of parents coming by to ask for repairs or new sets. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small hand-painted one by the gate. Sometimes the fabric deliveries come late and we have to work through the night to catch up on orders. It’s just how it is when you run a small business from home. We try to keep things simple and not take on more than we can handle. The tea shop at the corner is where we usually go when we need a break from the noise. We've been here for a long time and know almost everyone.
