Swaraj Fashions

Finding us at S.F. No. 341 in Thilagar Nagar West can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't from around here. We are located in the Velampalayam area of Anupparpalayam. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops and houses all mixed together. Swaraj Fashions isn't a big factory or anything, just a local place where we handle clothing work. The streets are a bit narrow, so parking can be a real headache sometimes. We have a few machines running and a handful of people who know their way around a needle and thread. Most days are the same, just keeping up with the work we have on the tables. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Usually, the door is open to let some air in because it gets stuffy inside with all the fabric lying around. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We've been in this part of Velampalayam for some time. There is a small tea shop down the road where we all go during the break. It is just a normal, hardworking environment. No one here wears a suit. We are usually covered in bits of thread by the end of the shift. We just try to get the pieces finished and sent out on time. It's not always perfect, but we do the work ourselves. That's about all there is to say about us really. We just keep our heads down.
