Sun Shine Clothing Co.

Sun Shine Clothing Co. is located at No. 271/1A in the Moorthi Compound on Uthukuli Main Road. We are in the Karumarampalayam area, and the easiest way to tell people where we are is by saying we’re near the government school. You can usually hear the kids during their break times from our workspace. Being on Uthukuli Main Road is pretty convenient for getting materials in and out. The compound itself houses a few different units, but we’ve been in our corner for a while. We do clothing work, so there are always piles of fabric, threads, and half-finished garments lying around the place. It’s a bit of a mess during the busy season, but that’s just how garment production goes. We aren't some high-end fashion house with a big glass front. We are a practical clothing company where the machines are always running and the floor is covered in scraps. The staff here are mostly locals from Karumarampalayam, so it feels like a neighborhood workplace. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the orders that come in. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound more important than it is. We just make the clothes and get them sent out to whoever ordered them. The school nearby is a good marker for the trucks that come to pick up the finished bundles.
