Sun Engineering Works

Our workshop, Sun Engineering Works, is situated at 1, Sumaithange Thottam. We are right across from MM Engineering on the Sundarapuram Road, which is part of the Madukkarai Post area. It is a bit of a landmark for us, having that big engineering firm right across the street. Our place is a bit smaller, but we handle a lot of different engineering tasks for the local community and nearby businesses. The area around Sumaithange Thottam has a lot of small industries and workshops, so there is always a sound of grinding or welding in the background. We usually have a few projects going on at once, scattered across the floor. It is not the most organized-looking place, but we know exactly where every tool and piece of metal is located. We do not go in for flashy signs or polished floors. Most of our work comes from people who just know us or saw us while driving down Sundarapuram Road. We open up early to beat the heat, as it can get quite warm in the workshop by the afternoon. We spend our days cutting, fitting, and fixing things. It is the kind of work that leaves you tired at the end of the day, but it feels good to see something finished. We have been at this location for years and have seen the road change quite a bit. It is a solid, reliable spot for the kind of engineering we do. We just keep our heads down and work.
