Statex Engineering

You can find us at 100/178 Nammathai Illam on Bharathiar Road. It’s right in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore. It’s a pretty busy road, so there is always noise from the buses and bikes passing by. Statex Engineering is just a local outfit. We’ve got a shop front and some space in the back for the actual work. The building itself is an older style, which we like because it stays a bit cooler. We don’t have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know the regulars who walk past every morning. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move everything away from the entrance, but mostly things stay dry. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The floors are concrete and they’ve seen a lot of use over the years. We keep our tools on the wall and there is always a radio playing somewhere in the background, usually some local station. It isn't a high-tech looking office, but it works for what we do. We don’t bother with fancy uniforms or anything. Just plain clothes and hard work. It’s been this way for a long time and we don’t see any reason to change it now. We just like being on Bharathiar Road because everything we need is just a short walk away.
