You can find Stallion Garments at No. 27 Appachinagar 3rd Street. We’re right in the middle of Kongu Nagar. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to be doing something similar. You hear the hum of machines from the other buildings on 3rd street all day long. Our place is just a regular building with a heavy door and enough space for our equipment. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people who need to find us already know where we are. The stairs are a bit narrow, and we’re always hauling stuff up and down. It keeps us busy, that’s for sure. We start early before it gets too hot. By noon, the sun hits the front of the shop and it gets a bit stuffy inside. We just open the windows and keep going. Most of us here have worked in other shops around Kongu Nagar before ending up here at Stallion Garments. It’s a tight-knit spot. We know the guy who delivers the water and the lady who sells snacks on the corner. It isn’t a fancy life, but it’s consistent. We finish the piles of work, pack them up, and get ready for the next day. The floor is usually covered in thread scraps by five o'clock, so we spend a bit of time cleaning up before we leave No. 27 for the night. We've been on Appachinagar 3rd Street for years and it’s just where we belong. Kongu Nagar is a busy place, but our little shop is our own quiet corner in the middle of it all.
