Sshibi Engineering is located at 44 Kannan Nagar in the Poonthottam area of Ganapathy. We are an engineering firm, so our day is mostly filled with looking at drawings and dealing with various machine parts. The office is a bit of a mix of computer desks and some workshop space where we check the equipment. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which is actually quite nice when we need to concentrate on some complicated work. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for many years now. It’s not a big corporate setup with lots of rules; it’s more like a group of people who just know their engineering stuff. We handle projects as they come in, sometimes they are small repairs and sometimes they take months of work. We don't have a big sales team out there looking for new work; most of it comes from people we've worked with before. There is usually some coffee brewing and someone looking over a blueprint on the main table. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes when a project is near the finish line, it gets a bit messy with papers everywhere. It’s a practical place. We focus on the engineering itself rather than how the office looks to outsiders.
