Ss Engineering Works

Our workshop is at 10/11-12 on Ammann Kulam Road in Pn Palayam. We basically took two units and made them into one so we would have enough room for the lathes and the welding equipment. Engineering work can be quite messy, so the floors are usually stained with oil and there is metal scrap in the bins. We have been part of the Pn Palayam community for a long time. You see the same people walking past every day on their way to the shops. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. It is just a big open space with a high ceiling and a few fans that hum all day. When the machines are running, it gets pretty loud in here. We are mostly focused on mechanical repairs and making custom parts for local factories. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We do not spend any time on promotional stuff because we would rather be working with our hands. Sometimes we are here late into the night if a job is urgent. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back, but you can barely hear it over the grinding. The area has changed a lot over the years, but we have mostly stayed the same. We just keep our tools sharp and our heads down. If you need something fixed, you just walk in and talk to us directly.
