Sri Vignesh Engineering

Sri Vignesh Engineering is located at New.No.113/2 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. If you know anything about Coimbatore, you know it’s a town that lives and breathes engineering and machine shops. Our place is right in the thick of it. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We have a few lathes and some old milling machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. They aren't the newest models you can buy, but they work just fine if you know how to handle them. The floor is always a little slick with oil, so you have to watch your step when you’re walking through the shop. We do a lot of small-scale fabrication and repair work for other local businesses. It’s a lot of grease and grit, and my hands are almost never completely clean. We don't have a fancy website or a sales department. People just come to the door when they have a part that needs fixing or a specific piece of metal that needs to be cut to size. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, making it a bit stuffy inside, but we just keep the back doors open to get a breeze. We take our time with the measurements because if you get it wrong, you’ve just wasted a perfectly good piece of steel. It’s a practical, straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
