You can find us at number 36 in Thillai Nagar. We are right off the main Dharapuram road. It is a very busy stretch of road. There is always a lot of noise from the buses and motorcycles going past. Sri Varshini Knit Fashion has been operating from this building for some years now. The space inside is mostly taken up by the machines. They make a lot of humming noise throughout the day. We have a small area in the front for visitors, but it is usually piled with samples. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Working with knits means there is lint everywhere. We just get used to it. The staff here mostly comes from the surrounding neighborhoods. We take a lunch break at the same time every day. Sometimes we get snacks from the tea stall down the road. It is a straightforward business. We do the knitting, check the quality, and pack things up. The Dharapuram road location makes it easy for the transport trucks to find us, which is a plus. On rainy days, the water collects a bit near the entrance, so we have to watch our step. It is a local place with local people. We do not have any fancy titles here. Everyone just knows what their job is and gets to it. We keep our heads down and work.
