Mostly we do metal work and some small parts for other shops around the area. It’s a dusty place, but that’s what happens when you’re cutting and welding all day long. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal bits and we spend a lot of time measuring things twice before we cut once. We’ve got a few old lathes and some newer tools too. It’s just a small team of us here. We don’t really have a front desk or anything, just the main floor where the work happens. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls. We take on whatever jobs come through the door, sometimes it's fixing a broken gate and other times it's making a specific part for a factory. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. We’ve been in this part of Udhayamoorthy Nagar for a good while and people around here know they can just drop in with a sketch or a broken piece of equipment. We just look at it, give a price, and get to work. It’s simple, steady work and we like it that way. No big corporate stuff, just engineering. It keeps us going and the bills paid every month like everyone else.
