Sri Sasi Steels

We are located at 31B on Palani Road. It is a very busy stretch of road in the Ragupathi Naiyakanpalayam area. Sri Sasi Steels is basically a large yard full of metal and a small office where we handle the billing. It gets quite loud whenever the trucks come in to unload the new steel shipments. You can hear the clanging of the metal from a good distance away. We spend a lot of our time outside in the yard. It gets very hot, especially when we are handling the heavy rebar and the large steel sheets. We always have to wear thick gloves because the edges of the metal can be incredibly sharp. The ground in the yard is mostly gravel and dirt, which can get muddy when it rains. We try our best to keep the stacks of steel organized so we can find things quickly when a customer pulls up. Most people around here know us because we have been at this same spot for a long time. It is not a polished or fancy place at all. There are rust stains on the concrete and old tools sitting on the workbenches. We just focus on getting the orders ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes the delivery schedule gets backed up when the traffic on Palani Road is heavy, but we work through it. Ragupathi Naiyakanpalayam is a decent area for a business like ours. There is plenty of room for the lorries to turn. It is honest work and we stay busy.
