Sri Sai Ram Metals

We have been here on Madukkarai Road in the Sidco area for quite a while now. It's a busy spot with lots of trucks coming and going all day. Sri Sai Ram Metals is basically just us handling different kinds of metal pieces and scrap that people bring in. It gets pretty dusty and loud around the shop, especially when we are moving the heavy stuff around. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard for the lorries to back in, but we manage. We usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of the people around here know us because we’ve been at this same corner for years. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a yard with a lot of iron and stuff piled up. We spend most of our time sorting through things or talking to the drivers who stop by. If you walk past, you'll see us mostly in work clothes, probably covered in a bit of grease or rust. It is hard work, but it’s what we do. The Sidco area has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings coming up, but our routine stays mostly the same. We just keep busy with the metals and try to get through the day's pile. There is always something that needs to be weighed or moved to the back. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along.
