We are tucked away on Thadagam Road, right in the Edayapalayam area. If you’ve ever driven past here during the rush, you know how busy the street can get with all the trucks and traffic. Our place, Sri Ranganathar Industries, has been sitting at 12/45 for a long stretch of years now. It’s mostly just a bunch of us who like working with our hands and making things. We do a lot of different industrial jobs. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s always the smell of cutting oil and grease in the air. We don't have a receptionist or any fancy lobby for visitors. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone in overalls who can point you toward the manager’s desk. We stay focused on the jobs we have in front of us. Some days are slower than others, but mostly we are just trying to keep up with the pile of work orders sitting on the table. We don't use big words or try to act like we are some huge, faceless corporation. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work for our customers. We’ve had the same neighbors for a long time, and we all kind of look out for each other on this block. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the bench and wait for it to come back. It’s a simple life at the shop. We just make sure the parts are done right before they leave the yard.
