Sri Ramanaa Knitters

Sri Ramanaa Knitters is based in the Sidco Industrial Estate on Harvy Road. Our unit is No. 35A. Working in an industrial estate is a bit different from a regular shop. It’s mostly about the work and the machines here. There is always a low hum of activity in the air from the different factories around us. We have been at this location for a good number of years now. Inside our unit, it is mostly space for the knitting machines and the piles of yarn. It’s a busy environment, and it can get quite warm when everything is running. We don’t have a fancy office or a place for guests to sit. It’s just a workspace where we focus on getting the knitting done correctly. Harvy Road is a busy place with a lot of trucks and moving parts. We like being part of this industrial community. There is a certain rhythm to the day here that we’ve all grown accustomed to. We aren't interested in making ourselves sound bigger than we are. We are just a small team doing our work. Every day is pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We just keep the machines maintained and make sure the orders are ready on time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. The days are long but we just get on with it.
