Sri Ragavendra Engineering

Sri Ragavendra Engineering is located at 266, Patel Road, in the Ramnagar area. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’re right in the thick of it. Our workshop has been here for years, and the walls are covered in tools and old calendars. We do a lot of general engineering work, mostly for the people and businesses right around us. It’s a loud place with the sound of grinding and cutting going on for most of the day. We don't have a fancy website or anyone to handle social media. We just answer the phone when it rings and see what needs fixing. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the work. Most of us here started out as apprentices and just stayed on. We know our machines inside and out. If something breaks down, we usually fix it ourselves. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We take a piece of metal and turn it into something useful. Sometimes it’s a small part for a car, and other times it’s something for a local factory. We like the routine of it. The tea shop around the corner is where we spend our breaks. It’s a simple life, and we’re happy to be part of the Ramnagar neighborhood. We just get the job done and go home.
