Sri Pongalur Engineering

We started Sri Pongalur Engineering quite some time back on Trichy Road. It’s a busy spot here in Pongalur. Most days you’ll find us working on different parts or fixing up machines that folks bring in. It gets pretty loud with all the tools going, but that's just how the work is. We don't have a big fancy office, just the workshop where we get things done. My father used to say that if you do the work right, people will come back, and that’s mostly what’s happened over the years. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. Sometimes things take a bit longer if we're waiting on a specific part, but we try to keep moving. The weather gets hot in the afternoons here, so we usually start early to beat the heat. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We handle a variety of requests, mostly stuff people need for their shops or small setups. If you’re driving down Trichy Road, you’ll see our place at No.7/707. There’s usually a bit of grease on the floor and some scrap metal out back, but that's just part of the trade. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just doing the engineering work that needs doing in Pongalur. It’s a simple living and we take it one day at a time.
