Sri Maha Vishnu Steels

We are located at No. 12 A- 1 in R. V. Nagar. It is on the 9th Cross Street, right near the Kangayam Road Pirivu in Rakkiyapalayam. It is a heavy place, lots of steel beams and rods lying around. The sound of metal hitting metal is what we hear all day long. We deal with construction steel and things like that. It is a dusty job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We have got a small yard where we keep the stock. It is not a polished showroom. You come in, tell us what length you need, and we get it ready for you. The trucks come in early and leave late. We know the roads around Kangayam really well. It is a tough business sometimes with the prices changing all the time, but we stay at it anyway. We have been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors know us. There is not any fancy management here, just us guys doing the lifting and the cutting. We keep our own records in big ledger books mostly. It is a local operation, serving the builders and the folks fixing up their houses around Rakkiyapalayam. We just do the work, load the trucks, and call it a day when the sun goes down. It is hard work but we are used to the noise and the weight of the steel.
