Our workshop is at 20/2 Sri Lakshmi Nagar, which is just near Vijay Industries in the Ganapathy area. It's a busy part of town, always something happening on the street outside. We spend our days cutting fabric and sewing garments. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve got a good rhythm down now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can fit our tables and machines. We started out small and stayed pretty grounded. Most of the people working here live nearby in Ganapathy or around Sri Lakshmi Nagar, so it feels like a family business even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the news. The noise of the sewing machines is just background music to us by now. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they saw our sign near Vijay Industries or someone told them we do decent work. We just take the fabric, follow the patterns, and make sure the stitching is straight. Sometimes the heat gets to us in the summer, but we have some fans going and we just keep at it. It’s about getting the clothes finished and packed up for the trucks. We just do our job and go home at the end of the day. It's simple and it works for us.
