Sreerama Metalforms

Sreerama Metalforms is located down on Arunthadiar Street. It’s a bit of a way out near Ettimadai Post, just off the Palakkad Main Road. We’ve got a workshop here. It’s usually noisy because of the machines and the metal hitting metal. That’s just the sound of work for us. We started small and stayed that way mostly. The area around Thirumalayampalayam Prirvu has its own slow pace. It’s not like the city center. We have a few machines that have been with us since the beginning. They need a bit of oiling and extra care, but they still run fine. We do metal forming. It’s hard work on the hands and the back. Most days we are covered in a bit of grease and metal dust by noon. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to visit. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes. The floor is concrete and there are scraps of metal in the corners. We try to keep it organized but it’s a busy shop and things get moved around. We get orders from local folks and some from further away. We don’t spend money on big ads or marketing. We just do the job and let the work speak for itself. It’s a simple life here. We open up early when it’s still cool and try to finish before it gets too dark. It’s just how we do things every day.
