Our business, Sree Narasimha Textiles Pvt. Ltd., is sitting right at No. 2 Trichy Road in Sulur. Being on Trichy Road means there is always traffic going by, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. Sulur is a busy area for textiles, and we are just one part of that whole scene. We have a lot of space here, but it fills up fast with all the fabric we handle. It’s an old-school kind of place. We don't have any modern office partitions or anything like that. It’s just big open areas for the textiles to be sorted and moved. We spend a lot of time on our feet, going back and forth between the different sections of the building. The walls have seen better days, and the floor is worn down from all the boots and trolleys, but it’s a working building. We aren't here to look fancy; we are here to get the textiles out the door. We deal with lots of different people coming in and out every day. Some are regular drivers we’ve known for years, others are just passing through. It gets dusty, and it gets hot, but that’s just the nature of the textile business in this part of the country. We keep the doors open to let the air in and keep working until the shift is finally over in the evening.
