Southern Steels

Southern Steels is located at No-5 on Thondamuthur Road in Vadavalli. We have been at this spot for quite a long time. It is a straightforward setup here. We have a yard where we keep the steel stock and a small office off to the side for the paperwork. The road outside can get pretty busy with people heading toward the hills, but we stay focused on the metal. You will usually hear the sound of steel beams being moved or the clanging of pipes. It is a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We are not the kind of place with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It is mostly just us, a few heavy-duty machines, and the inventory. People from around Vadavalli come to us when they need materials for building or small repairs. We do not have a big sales team. It is just a couple of us who know the stock well. The office has an old wooden desk and a lot of receipt books. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to the customers. The weather here is usually nice, so we keep the big doors open most of the time to catch the breeze. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the orders are right and the steel is where it needs to be. It is simple, unpolished work.
