Skg Mills Thaathur Limited

We are located at SF.NO.174/2 and 176/1 along the Marchanaickan Palayam section of the Anaimalai Main Road. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks heading towards the mountains or coming back down. Our mill in Ambarampalayam is easy enough to spot if you are looking for it, though the gate is a bit plain. We have a lot of space here for the raw materials and the finished goods. The work is mostly routine, starting with the first shift early in the morning. We have quite a few people from the nearby villages who have been working with us for years. They know the rhythm of the machines better than anyone. It’s a loud place when everything is running, and the air is always a bit thick with the smell of the fiber. We don't have any polished reception area or big signs. It is just a working mill where we spend our hours making sure the production doesn't stop. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating but just part of the job. During the monsoon, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we manage to keep the trucks moving. We don't do anything special here, just the same work day in and day out. It’s a living for us and the families around here.
